Smart Panels
Sandwich Panel Structurally Insulated Panels or SIPs are made up of a core of insulating foam, most commonly extruded (EPS) or expanded (XPS) polystyrene foam which has been glued between two sheets of oriented strand board (OSB), with the glue and OSB providing the structural element.
RAY-CORE SIPs ™ use the more conventional and proven construction method of utilizing wooden studs and no glues and OSB for the structural integrity of the product, with superiorly insulating polyurethane foam molded in place between the studs and covered with a radiant foil vapor barrier on either side of the panel.
