Panels and Headers
With stud framing for structural reliability, patented RAYCORE SIPs provide the qualities of sandwich panels with the framing strength and reliability, along with the ease of construction, of integrating wood studs.
RAYCORE SIPs are built with premium Douglas fir studs molded into the panels, polyurethane foam for superior insulation, and a foil radiant air barrier.
The combination makes for an advanced structural insulated panel product that can be used as both wall and roof panels.
We also offer insulated headers for openings above doors and windows.
Installation
Whether installed during a do-it-yourself project or a professional construction process, RAYCORE SIPs are built for easy installation.
Lightweight and with easy-to-handle dimensions, RAYCORE SIPs align with stick-frame construction techniques and are recognized as conventional framing. Our SIPs install with traditional framing processes, no specialized equipment or engineering needed, and meet or exceed building codes.
When used as wall framing, with no special code approvals or requirements as a structural insulated panel, RAYCORE SIPs meet Chapter 6 provisions of the International Residential Code (IRC).

Applications
RAYCORE SIPs can be used for both residential and commercial building projects.
