RAYCORE Structural Insulated Panels SIPs Are A Perfect Fit
Jackson Hole, Wyoming entrepreneur Jamie Mackay had a vision. An owner of one of the Valley’s most luxury cabin resorts, Jamie has taken Recreational Park Trailers (RPTs) to the next level. With a passion for sustainable building techniques, Jamie saw RAYCORE’s energy saving insulated panels as a perfect fit. With innovative design and a careful focus on space management, Jamie’s WheelHaus park model homes are the “next generation of RPTs”.
RAYCORE's Insulated Panels keep WheelHaus' RPTs Warm in the Winter and Cool in the Summer
Finding a Solution Searching for trailers to develop his Fireside Resort, situated in the shadows of the famous Jackson Hole Ski Resort, Jamie was looking for something different… something better. Unable to find a product that met his standards of durability, energy efficiency and clean living, he decided that he would build his own.
More Than a Trailer...
RAYCORE Structural Insulated Panels Are The Foundation Of Wheelhaus Sustainable Building Techniques
WheelHaus has developed a product that is more than a trailer. Designed for trailer parks of the future, these units are stylish and attractive, have a layout that is open, comfortable and energy efficient. Not your typical structure, when thing of the term "green building", but then again this isn't your typical park model trailer. Designed and built to LEED Gold standards and Certified Green, WheelHaus ensures a "healthier and more sustainable product."
The Wedge by WheelHaus
Constructed of the highest quality materials, the RPT units start with a steel frame, top that with a durable, super-insulated structure made from RAYCORE’s energy saving insulated panels. High r-value windows and doors finish off the envelop, sealing out the elements and keeping heating and cooling costs to a minimum. The exterior siding, wood ceilings and skirting are all made from beautiful reclaimed Wyoming snow fencing. Good air-quality is achieved through the use of low-VOC paints and wood floorings. Energy Star appliances, low-flow fixtures and faucets and a high-efficiency gas fireplace reduce demand on energy and water resources More than something good for the environment, Jamie envisioned surroundings that would be comfortable and enjoyable with full-size living packed into 400 square feet. The one bedroom unit include ample room for a king size bed and two nightstands, a built-in 4 drawer bureau, closet and desk. The combination kitchen and dining room is both comfortable and functional with a mini-kitchen that includes a sink, two-burner cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and under counter refrigerator. Concrete countertops and modern cabinetry add rustic style. The large living room accommodates a full-size sofa, two ottomans and two side tables. The full bath packs quality fixtures, a custom vanity with concrete top, quartzite floors and stone shower with glass doors.
